Safety Tips For Students Studying Abroad

Congratulations on your impending overseas study! We hope that the experience is both academically and personally rewarding and that you return to Chicago with a larger sense of the world and of yourself as a citizen of the world. Along with these best wishes we should like to offer a few words of advice about making your experience safe and relatively trouble-free. Clearly your living and studying in Chicago has made you "street-wise" in a way that will stand you in good stead abroad. A large part of staying out of harm's way abroad consists merely of retaining this sensibility. Beyond this we should like to make a few specific points and observations.
